Well this is a homeschool blog after all and it is summer time. (Not that we stop learning during the summer, buuuut I might get a little lazy..)
We have been doing lots of little fun things, going to the park etc. I thought something of note that we have done, is our first Homeschool Group Camping trip.
What a blast!
Windblown hair, windows down, on the way to the lake.
Learning to Kayak with a little boy in our Homeschool Group.
The school kids. (Look how cute they are) Grade 1 together next year in our Hybrid Community Homeschool. This is just a portion of the kids in their “class”. People worry about socialization with homeschooled kids. There is no need for this misconceived fear. Our children experience friendships with all sorts of people. Including our camping friends. The kids in the hybrid school do not form cliques or worry about how old each child is, (They range from kindergarten to grade 6, and often the younger siblings tag along) they just play and learn together.
Oh yeah and Bee lost her first tooth on the trip, and then lost the second tooth a few hours later. The kid is growing up quick….Sigh…
